Elevate your LinkedIn presence: crafting an impressive profile for Personal Brands

To BE or NOT to be on LinkedIn?

Did you know that LinkedIn has over 930 million members?

It's the world's biggest professional networking platform. If you're looking to connect with potential clients or build your network, highlight your skills and experience, or position yourself as an expert, LinkedIn is the perfect place to do it. Plus, when people search for you on Google, your LinkedIn profile is usually one of the top results. That way, potential clients can easily find you and see how skilled as a professional you are.

If you're feeling a little lost on creating an exceptional profile, don't worry, we got you!

When it comes to profile pictures…

DON’T

  2. Use random backgrounds

  3. Smile too much (if that’s not your thing)

  4. Be too creative/ try trends

  5. Choose weird angles

  6. Use filters/wear heavy make-up

DO

  1. Smile in a comfortable way

  2. Keep it business-casual/use light make-up

  3. Use glasses/other props as long as your face and eyes are visible

  4. (If you want) Wear a shirt that can let others know what you do just from a quick glimpse

  5. Black and white filters are generally accepted

  6. Express your creative side (if needed), but keep your face as the focal point
