Somehow, I pretty much knew what to expect when I met them in person at the studio, thanks to the detailed presentation on the website, but also after the online meeting I had with Ioana. I arrived at the studio with the feeling that we already know each other for a long time, which gave me a very pleasant vibe. Then when I got the photos, I had revelation after revelation, I felt like I was really getting to know myself. Ioana and her team know how to guide the photoshoot - with a lot of patience and skill - so that, in the end, they get photos in which to photograph YOU, the person, in a natural state, in which you don't feel that you were posing. Felt sooooo nice here I want to make this a recurring gift to myself. It starts with walking into a lovely house with the cutest outside view. Ioana greets you with her empowering vibe, then you start chatting. A prosecco bottle pops open, and the magic starts. First, the amazing make-up, based on your chat. Then, Ioana has this 6th sense for picking up on your state of mind, and she seems to know exactly how to bring your feelings to the surface & capture everything on camera. The Fab Squad is like a dream a girl dreams and then she wakes up and finds out it's a real place. It's sort of like Neverland but with an actual address and you don't have to give up on anything to be there! Maybe it's not like Neverland at all, except for the magical part. The magical part is how you get to feel. Usually, when you go someplace for a "makeover" the underlying sentiment is that you're fixing something that is wrong, that you're the Ugly Duckling and someone is gonna show you how to hide that.
